Requirements for CogentQC.NET

Software:

–         Windows 2000 (with .NET Framework installed) or XP operating system

–         System is installed on a Windows 2000 or XP machine, and accessed via other W2K/XP desktops

–         Microsoft SQL Server

–         Microsoft Outlook for emailing (optional)

Hardware:

Minimum Server Requirements:

–         Pentium IV class or better PC with 1 GHz processor clock speed

–         512 MB RAM

–         2 GB of available hard disk space (more is better and disk space is cheap)

Minimum Workstation Requirements - same as above, plus:

•         Super VGA (1024 x 768) or higher screen resolution

•         a mouse

•         a printer connection

•         barcode scanner (optional)

Requirements for Version 5 and Earlier (Visual FoxPro)

CogentQC Systems are 32-bit Microsoft Visual FoxPro applications that run on Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, XP or NT. They require only Excel (version 7.0 or later), Word (version 6.0 or later) and Internet Explorer (version 4.0 or higher) as user-licensed and installed software.  Optional features Report Writer and eReports require Microsoft Outlook 98 or higher and Adobe Acrobat Reader (available for free download from Adobe.com).

Standard Systems are installed on a local area network and may be accessed from any number of workstations.  Optional remote-enabled ("WAN") systems require Citrix servers or similar.

Recommended hardware, per workstation, includes: a 366MHz Pentium CPU, 64 megabytes of RAM, a 17" monitor, a mouse, and a printer connection.
