Cogent Web Seminars are open to any current Cogent client. To register for a seminar or to be placed on the invitation list, please send an email to support@cogentqc.com with "Web Seminar" in the subject line. Sessions are scheduled for 11am Pacific Time unless otherwise noted. The sessions are usually 60-90 minutes in duration and there is plenty of opportunity for interaction. We look forward to seeing you online.

May 7	CogentQC.NET Overview - If you have not seen the new CogentQC.NET application, this is your chance. This session will demonstrate the major innovations of CogentQC.NET. In addition, we will walk through the steps of scheduling and completing your upgrade.
Jun 11	Feedback Functions Today and Tomorrow - This session focuses on one of the most popular features of Cogent systems: feedback. We will look at how the Feedback Functions work today in Version 5 and compare that with the new Feedback Functions in CogentQC.NET.
Jul 9	Using and Modifying Audit Shells - Most users spend most of their time in audit shells, the primary audit environment of Cogent systems. With CogentQC.NET, this audit environment has been overhauled. You'll now have quicker access to functions, more information visible in all screens, more control over the structure of audit shells, and much more. Join us for a detailed walk-through of your new audit environment.
Aug 20	Standard Reports in CogentQC.NET - CogentQC.NET retains Cogent's suite of standard reports but introduces many enhancements: a sleeker look for each report (including color), more efficient report generation, expanded save and export capabilities, even report names have been updated to make them more meaningful. This is the first of two sessions covering reporting. The second session covers the new Report Writer, which is the tool used to create all the new standard reports in CogentQC.NET.
Sep 24	Report Writer for CogentQC.NET - This session covers the powerful new features of Report Writer for CogentQC.NET. See how you can query your database, create complex reports with drag-and-drop simplicity, save in various formats and export data from the system - all in the same tool.

Note that we also plan to offer recorded sessions, which clients may view at any time. Recorded sessions will begin to be available in 2008.

Senior Management Reporting - Cogent's management reports are designed to work in conjunction with the Cogent sampling methodology to present the big picture of your organization's loan quality, and to drill down to the particulars. We'll cover the basic elements in this session, venture into control charts, and touch on how Report Writer can enhance the core reporting set. We'll also spend some time on how different Cogent clients present their QC findings to management.

Beyond the Basics: New Tricks, Optional Modules, Custom Reports and More - in this session, we’ll peer into some of the more obscure corners of Cogent systems – user-defined error groups, control charts, pareto charts, specialized Report Writer features, and other tools you may have overlooked. In addition, we’ll take a look at some of the custom functions that Cogent has developed for clients over time.

Feedback Functions – Probably the most popular innovation in recent years, Cogent's feedback functions are saving hundreds of person hours per month at our clients. Now, with CogentQC.NET's browser interface, all feedback functions go online, eliminating the need to generate and exchange Excel spreadsheets with field offices.

Sampling & Reporting – Strategies and Tactics – Cogent’s sampling methodology emphasizes minimal random sampling (Statistical and Stratified) and a focus on adverse or discretionary sampling (Targeted). Since you’re probably spending most of your time on Targeted sampling and reporting, it’s important to know how to get the most out of your Cogent system – and ensure that you’re doing it all correctly. This session will help.

Report Writer (.NET version) - Report Writer for CogentQC.NET is a completely new tool. It features a drag-and-drop interface, charting, embedded images, text boxes, full formatting capabilities, and more. Plus all the functionality of the FoxPro Report Writer tool. Join us for a first look at this powerful new tool
